NSU SOCCER COMPLEX

The NSU Soccer Complex, relocated before the 2008-09 academic year, consists of two fields, one practice and one game field. The game field is home for both the men's and women's soccer teams. Both fields come equipped with lights that allow for night practices and games.

“The NSU Soccer Complex, built three years ago, has played host to professional and national teams from both the United States and Great Britain," said NSU women's soccer head coach Mike Goodrich. "Consisting of two spacious soccer fields, Bermuda grass, and the lush surroundings adjacent to the dormitories within NSU's campus provide a beautiful setting to watch and play soccer."

The game field features grandstand seating with a capacity of 1,000 spectators. In addition, a state-of-the-art drainage system was installed along with new turf, creating one of the best playing surfaces in the state of Florida.

Several professional teams and organizations have used the NSU Soccer Complex over the years, further proving how renowned the soccer complex is. The Team USA Men's and Women's teams have both trained at the complex along with the Glasgow Rangers and several MLS squads.

The NSU Soccer Complex become more than just a soccer facility in 2003 when the Discover Orange Bowl Committee chose it as a training facility for one of it's participants. Football teams such as Southern California, Florida State, and Virginia Tech have all practiced at the NSU Soccer Complex in preparation for their BCS Showdown.

FROM FLORIDA'S TURNPIKE HEADING NORTH OR SOUTH: From Florida’s Turnpike, Exit at I-595, proceed west to University Drive. Turn left (south) onto University Drive. Proceed approximately 1 ½ miles and turn left onto SW 30 St (Abe Fischler Blvd.) Continue approximately ½ mile and turn right into the North entrance of the campus (this is Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd.) The public parking garage is located on the right.

FROM I-595: Proceed to University Drive. Turn (south) onto University Drive. Proceed approximately 1 ½ miles and turn left onto SW 30 St (Abe Fischler Blvd.) Continue approximately ½ mile and turn right into the North entrance of the campus (this is Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd.) The public parking garage is located on the right.
